2.4m dining room table

Fresh from the Farm | 10-Seater Reclaimed Oregon Dining Table

A beautifully crafted 10-seater dining table, made locally by Fresh from the Farm, a small-scale furniture workshop on the East Coast of East London, South Africa.

The substantial tabletop is made from thick pieces of reclaimed Oregon timber, carefully brought together to create a warm, characterful surface. The timber has been given a natural finish that allows its beautiful grain, knots, markings and natural imperfections to shine through. These imperfections are part of the charm of reclaimed timber — each piece tells a little of its own story and no two tables are exactly alike.

The off-white painted legs provide a fresh, relaxed contrast to the warmth of the Oregon top, giving the table a timeless farmhouse aesthetic that works equally well in a traditional or more contemporary home.

Fresh from the Farm produces furniture on a small scale, using reclaimed and salvaged materials to create practical pieces with plenty of personality. Rather than mass-produced furniture, each creation is individually made and carries the character of the materials from which it was built.
